Education:
Graduate of Iola-Scandinavia in 2002 (GO T-BIRDS)!
UW-Oshkosh: Bachelor's Degree in Sociology
Lakeland University: Master of Arts in Counseling with a School Counseling Emphasis (Early Childhood-Adolescence)
After I graduated from UWO, I worked as a Social Worker for Waupaca County, Department of Health and Human Services. I was employed with the county for about 5 years. During that time I also attended school for my Master's Degree. I really enjoyed working for Waupaca Co., however, I wanted to be in the school setting! After I graduated from Lakeland University, I worked for the Gresham Community School District as the K-12 School Counselor for two years and also coached middle school girl's basketball. During this time I also worked for the Fox Valley Autism Treatment Program where I provided in-home services to children with Autism. I then went to work for the School District of Manawa as the K-12 School Counselor where I also coached 8th grade girl's basketball. My dream was to be in Iola and it was a goal I set for myself when I decided to go to Grad School! I love the Iola community and feel very fortunate to be a part of it and the school district! I could go on and on about all of the great things that happen in Iola and how lucky we are, but I am sure you already know!
